MEET THE LEAD TEAM MEMBER:

Hi, I am Peggy. An avid lover and follower of technology. I am the lead in Apple Pie Design and Partners, and I work with a strong team behind me helping businesses create solutions to complex problems whilst maintaining the focus on vision, needs & strategy.

For the past decade I’ve been crafting user-centered strategies and experiences within a client’s marketing plans using print, web and social media. I specialize in User Interface and User Experience website design (Responsive, Bootstrap, WordPress, HTML/CSS and PHP), print design (brochures, annual reports, inserts, flyers, etc.) and eMarketing through client preferred social media platforms and email blast campaigns.

Some other areas of expertise of mine are creative direction/art direction, photography, interface design, conception and production, website SEO and more. Most days I work with colors, pixels, grids, typography, and lines of code. Being a self-taught professional, I am excited about the vast opportunities we have today in technology, design and marketing.

MEET TOM, OUR WRITER:

Tom is our lead writer on staff with over 25 years experience in the strategic and creative side of advertising and promotional marketing, working client side for Jewel Food Stores and such Chicago agencies as Frankel (now Arc Worldwide), Grant/Jacoby, and Robinson Maites (formerly William A. Robinson) and This is Plan B (contract CD/copy).

In addition to his “on staff” work, he has had over 15 years of freelance strategic development and creative direction experience on such accounts as Baxter Labs, Air Comfort, Otis Spunkmeyer (ARYZTA), Wine Insiders, Sprint Cellular, McDonald’s Restaurants, Visa Card, Allied Van Lines, United Airlines, Target Stores, Paper Mate, Hyatt Hotels, Mather Lifeways, Hormel, ConAgra, General Foods/Kraft, and Frito-Lay.

MEET TOM, OUR PHOTOGRAPHER:

We would like to introduce you to Dan, our lead photographer and owner of Studio 42, Inc. Dan has been working in the photography arena for the past 20+ years, working with corporate clients like Motorola, Nokia Siemens, DuAll Precision, and PLS. He and his staff have photographed celebrities such as Mike Ditka and Lovie Smith, along with Drew Brees, Boomer Esiason, Larry Fitzgerald, and Olympian Nadia Comaneci. Other celebrities that have graced his camera lens include Phil Keoghan, host of The Amazing Race and author of NOW: No Opportunity Wasted and Jeannette Walls, author of The Glass Castle.

Studio 42 possesses the ability to professionally photograph anything from a small-sized widget to an exotic automotive in their 3300 sq ft photography studio, which hosts a 30ftx30ft infinity wall and a multitude of varying lighting modifiers. Dan and his team are also skilled at providing on-site portraits and business setting photographs that help to professionally promote your brand in print, brochures and on the web.
